Home Cooking, Embutido and Cassava Cake

Hi all, Its sunny day today, and i been doing some cooking as i love to eat and would be nice a new added menu for my dishes . For today, i prepared an Embutido, its a Filipino version of meatloaf. My husband loves my cooking and hes gaining weight. Also i prepared a sweets desserts, Cassava cake,,, mmmm so sweets as i added a sweet macapuno on it, its just melted on your mouth. Happy Weekend All

Hello all, been a week not posted here, but now i am back, right now, im still working on my curtain, i do hope it could be finished soon, as i let you see it, doing anything at this time around made time move faster and lessen the boredom,,,,hahahaha,,, i got a letter from USCIS,,, i be having my interview on the March 11,2010 at 3 pm, at SEATTLE, USCIS OFFICE for my conditional 2 yr Green Card, as usual my husband be with me and a good nice trip again in Seattle. Im looking forward for this interview so i could be working soon. Right now, i am homebound, doing anything here, im here with Jasper - our boy ,an English Pointer one- my husband is at work, hes working 3 days a week , 12 hours a day, just as hardworking man, hes into the quality control position in BOWMAN , Arlington which is a 45 minutes drive from here. Last week, we been at COSTCO, Its a wholesale store where you can buy in bulk, our pantry is quite empty ,we filled up with it all groceries, and i admit, u can save money by buying in bulk, its a huge store with many varieties you can choose from, esp good if your planning for a large gathering, this store is a good one. Tomorrow, the Day of Hearts,,, my wishes and happy thoughts to all couples, more love flowing and keep it in flame. Happy reading.

Its truly been a good week, last monday - we been at SEATAC Intl Airport as my fellow pinay friend and her family be going home in Philippines, we been also at the PIKE Place Public Market known for its fish throwing. As im in that location so we go for a walk at the Seattle Water front, seen all those cruise liner for some tourists who wants to experienced riding it. I got some pictures in here, later i will poast it, my husband is way too patience with me, i seen lots of tourists also in this locations, we exchanged cameras to take pictures, it was fun and this will be the beggining for the next trip in Seattle. On Tuesday,,, we are at Oak Harbor,Whidbey Island- its farther north from where i live, its a pretty jet city , the Whidbey Island Naval Base is located, i am kinda amazed with all those jets flying around the city, hovering on me,,,practicing as my husband said. As we travel here, a good weather gathers around which make it easier as my husband be carrying a car in his big truck , it all went well on the way to Mt Vernon. This day, we been at Les Schwab to get the tire for his sandrail,they are offering a free beef if you buy a tire. Been also at Target and Walmart to get my needed things for my home project, at Lowe's i got a climbing rose , been doing something to make myself busy , hope this could be a new start for me , thanks foe reading.

New Project

Happy Weekend to all,, its been days i havent posted as i am doing a home project, a curtain making,,, im a avid fan of HGTV Network- this inspires me to become more creative in my spare time. In time, i'll post my finished curtain in here and i hope this will inspires u as well in doing all the things we like. At home, Philippines, i've done cross stitch too but would be a great deal to do something different again. Making myself busy releases the boredom in me as i live here alone with my husband, he made things easier for me, hes a very caring man , love him for what he is. As im writing my blog now i heard in KIRO 7 News that a clam picking is open in some area shore here in Washington State, hopefully i could experienced doing it but my husband is at work right now, maybe in time i could. Ok, i guess i got to start my day now,,, thanks for reading.

Awesome and Sunny day

Its 12;17 am right now,,, a new day is starting and im still not sleepy, here i am trying to create the things here inside my blog, still learning, new ways to make it better. As for this day, i been doing some gardening as its a sunny morning here in my sweet little Town of Darrington, i hope sunny days be coming soon and no more chilly weather so i could continue my gardening and cut small branches of evergreen trees here in our backyard,me and my husband wants to have a japanese garden, stone filled garden at the back porch, maybe this summer - we could make it possible. Its so nice when you work together and it turns our productive, same as what we did, me and my husband this day,,,. After our day outside, we spent time watch movie, The Quick and the Dead, a western movie- we both love it, then we watch the State of the Union Address by President Obama- its a way both well good time, sitting at the sofa while munching popcorn with my mouth full that i couldnt concentrate on it,silly me,,, Overall a very productive day,,, a day full of new beginnings.

Things happens this week

Its been days i havent jotted down here, its like time flies so quick, now its tuesday, im thankful as days go by, go to church last sunday, visits a friend too, she lives not far from where i am, - shes in a Sauk Prairre Road , we are both Filipina married to an American guy, we both love here as we are within a National Forest, the Whitehorse Mountain is in my background. I guess, u can tell it as i am sorrounded by all the Cascades. This day , i been at down below,Arlington- buy some things at the Marshalls, i love this store, they are good and the prices are reasonable, try to shop here and u can have a good value for your dollar. Got shirts, hooded jackets, wallets and leggings - i find it worth and next time i be going back to Marshalls. I hope there would be some Marshalls stores located near in your area too. Me and my husband went also to the Haggen Store, this store is fantastic, esp in there bakery section with all those sweet goddies, 2 for 1 $- the donuts , i picked the cinnamon , my husband get the donut with sprinkled candy on top, i love my cinnamon as it covered with cream cheese frosting. I couldnt resists my sweets cravings, im glad i know where i can find it, its at Haggen ,but for shopping it will be at the Marshalls. I guess, this is all for now,,, thanks for reading.
